Ami Vora Joins Faire as Chief Product Officer

At Faire, our mission of empowering entrepreneurs is at the heart of everything we do. Building technology products that help our community realize their dreams of starting and running a successful business is the most important way we work towards that mission. That’s why I’m so excited to share that Ami Vora has joined our team as Faire’s first Chief Product Officer. 

She brings nearly 20 years of experience leading product and design teams for some of the most widely-used platforms in the world – often directly serving entrepreneurs and small businesses. Ami is joining our executive team at an exciting moment for the company and will lead our product and design teams through a new phase of growth and expansion.

For more than 15 years at Meta, Ami was instrumental in scaling the company from just over 100 employees to the global workforce of tens of thousands it is today. Most recently, she was the Vice President of Product and Design for WhatsApp. Before that, she led the largest product team at Meta and oversaw the creation and growth of several of the company’s most successful and actively used products, including ads for both Facebook and Instagram. Before Meta, Ami was at Microsoft where she led product, marketing, and strategy while building developer communities around the world. Her products have been used by billions of people and tens of millions of businesses around the world.

Ami is passionate about the ways that Faire can level the playing field for independent brands and retailers around the world. She firmly believes in the power that technology has to democratize access to tools typically reserved for only the largest companies.  Through her authenticity, product sense, and rigorous first-principles thinking, she has inspired teams that serve businesses throughout her career and embodies all the attributes we look for in a leader at Faire. 

With Ami’s proven record of product development and passion for our mission, I am confident that she will unlock new ways for us to meet our customers wherever they are in their entrepreneurial journey as we grow stronger together. Please join me in welcoming Ami to Faire!
