Faire Opens New Canadian Office in Toronto

Faire, the online wholesale marketplace valued at $12.59 billion, today announced the opening of a new Canadian office in Toronto. Officially opening doors to employees later this summer, Faire’s Toronto office, which will be located in the Fashion District near the iconic CN Tower, marks the second Canadian office for the company. 

Faire’s Kitchener-Waterloo office has operated as the company’s Canadian headquarters since its inception in 2017, and the Toronto office will serve a variety of teams including marketing, design, people, talent, data, and engineering. More than 75 employees have been hired in Toronto, and Faire plans to double headcount in the office by the end of the year. 

To date, Faire’s Canadian headquarters in Kitchener-Waterloo has made a significant impact on the company’s growth. Responsible for innovating, building, and delivering new tools to Faire’s growing community of nearly 600,000 customers, the company’s engineering hub has quickly scaled to around 185 employees and plans to grow to more than 250 total by the end of 2022.

Since welcoming Canadian customers to the marketplace in 2019, Faire’s customer community in Canada has also seen promising growth, reaching nearly 20,000 independent brands and retailers offering 250,000 unique products on the marketplace.
