Introducing Top Shop and Faire Winter Market 2022

At Faire, we’re always releasing new features, developing tools, and hosting events to empower entrepreneurs to chase their dreams. Read on for a snapshot of the important products, features, and events we unveiled in January 2022 for our customers.

One of the most important ways we serve our community is by developing technology solutions that level the playing field for brands and retailers around the world. From virtual events that generate sales to robust tools that help brands and retailers run their business, we’re always introducing new ways to help independent businesses compete with big-box retail chains. 

Faire Winter Market 2022

Our fourth virtual trade show event, Faire Winter Market is taking place right now globally (January 31-February 4, 2022). Since the inception of our Faire Markets, these virtual trade shows have grown into the largest wholesale buying event in the world, with nearly 50,000 brands and retailers participating worldwide.

Our global events have empowered our community of retailers to discover unique brands from all over the world. At the Faire Summer Market 2021, the event saw more than 66,000 new business relationships made and more than $9M in savings for independent retailers through discounts and Faire promotion-matching.

Introducing Faire’s Top Shop program

We created Faire’s Top Shop program to celebrate our most-loved brands and help retailers discover the best of Faire. 

Brands that run a world-class shop page, receive high ratings from retailers, get repeat orders, and fulfill orders smoothly can unlock powerful rewards including:

  • A “Top Shop” badge which helps distinguish a brand in search results, category, and product pages. Shoppers will know at a glance when they see a top-rated brand on Faire.
  • Access to priority customer support means brands will get priority assistance whenever they contact Faire for support and can quickly get back to doing what they do best— running a business.

While Top Shop is still new, we expect the program’s positive sales impact for brands will continue to increase as more retailers get familiar with the program and come to associate Top Shop brands with great product quality and customer service.

North American-based brands can now take steps to earn a Top Shop badge, and plans are in the works to roll out the feature to our European brands later this year. More information can be found here.

New improvements to email & CRM tools for brands

Email is a crucial marketing channel for brands when it comes to announcing new products or promotions and driving orders from retailers. With these latest updates to our free email marketing product, brands can more easily engage and manage their retailer contacts in the Faire brand portal by:

  • Connecting their business email to avoid email threshold limits
  • Linking product images in their emails to increase retailer engagement 
  • Filtering and bulk-deleting email addresses to keep their contact list updated

Coming soon

Faire Fashion Week will return March 7-11 2022, giving our global retailer community access to secure the newest preorder styles for Fall/Winter 2022. From top emerging and established apparel and footwear brands, last year nearly 170,000 styles were purchased throughout the week (see here for details).
